About Us

WHO WE ARE

Dustin’s Dream exists to share the transformational love of God by meeting the physical, emotional, and spiritual needs of at-risk individuals and families in Guatemala and beyond. We partner with like-minded organizations to provide medical care, tangible community aid, and spiritual hope to those in need.

Every beginning has a story. Our story begins with an ending - the ending of a race run here on earth and the beginning of a beautiful eternity with Jesus. Dustin’s Dream was founded in memory of the life and legacy of Dustin Chamberlain. Dustin was a pre-medicine student at Baylor University, who was tragically killed in a random home invasion in December of 2011. Dustin had long dreamt of becoming a doctor. He had a passion for people, the medical field, and sharing his faith in Jesus Christ. To Dustin, practicing medicine was just another means for ministry. From the death of this young man was born the idea of Dustin’s Dream, a non-profit that would carry out that same ministry. Don and Deondra Chamberlain founded Dustin’s Dream in 2012.
